Cocktail of the month: Cosmopolitan
INGREDIENT:
2 Measure citron vodka
1 Measure Orange liquor
2 wedge of lime
1 measure Cranberry Juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix all the ingredients in the shaker and squeeze the limes and
Shake them well with loads of ice. Serve in chilled martini glass. Garnish
it with orange rind curl.
HISTORY:
One of the most popular cocktails, this recipe is a delicious balance of
citrus and berry flavours. This cocktail first appeared on the scene in the
1980s, it was originally made without the any juice. Later during the years
Cranberry juice was introduce to give its individual character - but it was
the TV series "Sex and the City" which brought the recipe international
recognition around the world.
